Jemma & The Night Bedtime Story App now out.

We are delighted to have had our latest bedime iphone and ipad mobile app approved by Apple and now available on the itunes store.

A delightful bedtime story created to help settle and soothe your child when they go to bed. The whole story has been designed to help children gently unwind and fall asleep relaxed and settled. Which means you can leave them with the knowledge that they are ready for the night. It is particularly suitable for 2 to 7 year olds.

The story contains gentle animations and soothing bedtime sounds, well known for helping children to relax.

The app has optional narration and the on-screen text is also optional allowing you to configure the app for your own child.

Additionally, the app also includes a Sounds Screen where you can set a timer (up to 10 minutes) to play gentle animations and dreamy lullabies to help settle your child to sleep.

The Sound Screen is fully included at no extra charge and can be very effective at settling your child.

Jemma is scared when her mum first leaves the room at bedtime and everything seems unfamiliar and scary.

As the story unfolds Jemma realises that she is being watched over by the stars, the moon and a friendly owl who reassure her and help her settle to sleep with the help of the sea gently lapping at the shore.

Jemma & The Night is beautifully illustrated with enchanting characters and scenes which combine to give a gentle and relaxing ambience to relax your child at bedtime and so help them get to sleep.

Jemma & The Night has been written by Joanna Windsor, a qualified teacher and founder of Baby Sleep Shop(www.babysleepshop.com) which has been helping children sleep since 2004 by providing one of the widest ranges of bedtime sleeping products available online. Joanna also has a Masters Degree in Literature and particularly enjoys writing for children.

The illustrations were created by Emily Snape , a gifted illustrator, who particularly enjoys writing for children and was the natural choice for Jemma & The Night. Her work has been featured on Nickelodeon, the BBC, Boots and for the Children’s Society.

We are very receptive to constructive feedback and as the story has been developed by ourselves we will be able to implement any changes very quickly, so please do let us know if we can improve upon Jemma & The Night.
